I did not seek the divine until I lost everything. Everything I thought I needed, weighing me down, clouding my true expression and what I came here to experience. The event that brought me down to my lowest point was when my father passed on. His loss was the true turning point for me. From then on, I questioned life after death. Something I never gave much thought about previously.
Jesus said, the kingdom of God is within you. It has been over five years now since I touched the divine spark within me. And since then, I have shed layers of my past self and worked towards integrating my higher self within my human embodiment. It hasn’t been easy but it has been enlightening. To seek within oneself takes courage and a willingness to listen.
Over the years I have worked to shed limiting beliefs through self-awareness. Affirmations have been a blessing in helping me to do so. As humans we are impressionable, specifically the subconscious mind. The most effective way I have worked to overcome certain beliefs that have been ingrained in me since birth is through the power of reprogramming through affirmations and conscious thought and action.
Moving through the world with the divine isn’t a one size fits all kind of program, but I hope that by sharing my experiences and understanding of what I’ve learned, I can help someone move closer to their chosen, pre-ordained soul calling.
When all else fails, my guides remind me to Just Be. In stillness the answers will appear.
